Terms & Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern all offers, contracts, and deliveries by Pfeifer Groups (“we/us”) for wood pallets and related services. They apply exclusively to business customers (entrepreneurs, legal entities, or public agencies).
Deviations from these GTC require our written confirmation. Customer terms only apply if explicitly agreed in writing.

Our offers are non-binding. Product specifications (e.g., dimensions, weights) in catalogs or online are not guaranteed unless stated in the order confirmation.
A customer order constitutes a binding offer. Contract formation occurs upon our written order confirmation, invoice, or delivery.

Delivery periods begin only after:
- Clarification of technical details.
- Receipt of customer-provided documents/payments.
Force Majeure (e.g., pandemics, strikes) exempts us from delays. Partial deliveries are permitted.
Risk transfers upon handover to the carrier (FCA Incoterms 2020 default) or at delivery destination if agreed.

Prices are in EUR (ex-works, plus VAT). Transport/packaging costs are customer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due 10 days post-invoice without deduction. Default incurs 9.2% p.a. interest (merchants: 8% above base rate).
We may demand prepayment or security for high-risk orders.

Wood as a natural product may exhibit color/grain variations; swelling/shrinking are not defects.
Defect claims require written notice within:
- 7 days for visible defects.
- 7 days after discovery for hidden defects.
We remedy defects at our discretion (repair/replacement). No liability for improper storage/use by customer.
Liability limits:
- Foreseeable damages only (excluding gross negligence/intent).
- 12-month warranty period from delivery (excludes fraud/product liability).

Goods remain our property until full payment. Customers may resell in ordinary business but must assign proceeds to us as security.
For deliveries outside Germany, customers must insure goods and assist with local title registration.
